Bisphenol AF Application:
Bisphenol AF is mainly used as vulcanizing agent (cross-linking agent) for fluoroelastomers, and more than 70% of fluoroelastomers are vulcanized with bisphenol AF system. Fluoroelastomers vulcanized (cross-linked) with bisphenol AF have low compressive permanent deformation, excellent processing safety, storage stability, thermal stability and chemical resistance, and high tensile strength and tensile strength. Bisphenol AF vulcanized fluoroelastomer is mainly used to make high-temperature, oil and media resistant hoses, rubber fabrics, diaphragms and seals, etc. Its applications have been expanded from the aerospace field to the automotive, marine, machinery, chemical, petroleum, light industry and other industrial sectors, especially in the automotive industry, petroleum industry, energy saving and environmental pollution control applications are more rapidly developed. Bisphenol AF can be used as monomer to synthesize fluorinated poly(arylene) amine, fluorinated polyester, fluorinated polyaryl ether, fluorinated polyether ketone, fluorinated polycarbonate, fluorinated epoxy resin, fluorinated polyurethane and other fluorinated polymers, used as gas separation membrane, proton exchange membrane, dielectric coating, optical fiber sheathing, photoelectric tube substrate, binder, etc., widely used in microelectronics, fuel cells, optics, space technology and other fields. Bisphenol AF modified heterocyclic specialty polymers can obtain higher thermal stability, oxidation resistance, light transmission, low dielectric constant and water absorption. Bisphenol AF can also be used as intermediates in organic synthesis.
