4-(Diphenylphosphino)styrene [40538-11-2] monomers containing vinyl structural units are triggered to polymerise to obtain phosphine-containing organic polymers or to assemble into film materials. These phosphine-containing organic polymers can be used as flame retardant materials for fire-fighting equipment, as polymer-loaded phosphine ligands and for the synthesis of polymer-loaded transition metal catalysts and their application to catalyse C-C bond formation reactions.
